Old Remington Travel-Riter Typewriter I found this at an auction for an old autoparts store. The typewriter is in good condition. I can't say the same about the case (see picture). It is roughed up a little bit. The typewriter works but it is missing a key. It could be a welcome addition to any collection or used for crafting . I'm not sure of the age but it has to have been made in the 50's or 60's. The ribbon needs to be replaced or reinked. All of the keys work and it will type. I tried it. This auction is for a fantastic piece of original folk art by Texas folk artist Mary Gray. Mary has a ranch in central Texas where she raises registered Texas Longhorn cows and creates her wonderful folk art. She is completely self-taught in her art, and her creations are always totally unique. Her art work is a great combination of color and design in a naive and charming folk style. This piece measures 5 x 7 inches and is in an 8 x 10 mat. It is mixed media -- ink and colored pencil on extra heavy bristol paper. It is signed with the rocking G brand of the Gray ranch on the front and is signed and dated by Mary Gray on the back. It has the title on the back as well. It comes with mat and backing included and it is wrapped in plastic for protection. You could easily frame it by slipping it into a standard size 8 x 10 inch frame | Price: $11.90
